Freshness Monitor

     The 'Freshness Monitor' is a sleek rectangular device mounted inside your refrigerator which helps monitor the freshness of the produce in your fridge. Certain fruits and vegetables emit what is known as ethylene gas when they begin to ripen; the Freshness Monitor uses cutting-edge technology to detect ethylene emissions and then notify you of the decay of your fruits and vegetables through a special LED lighting system. The product will notify you via three colored LED lights; it will work as follows:
     A red light will indicate your produce is unsafe to eat. A yellow light will indicate that your produce must be consumed within 48 hours. A green light will indicate fresh produce that is safe to eat.
